Editorial
Resumo
The William Morris Davis Journal of Geomorphology reaches its fourth issue (volume 2,
issue 2)! In its one and a half year of existence, the journal has already become a reference in the
area, and is occupying a large space in the production of Brazilian geomorphology. Also relying
on international articles in its four issues, in addition to important international and national
geomorphology classics, Willliam Morris Davis really came to give greater visibility to
geomorphology production in all its dimensions, and it is an honor for us, editors, to be able to
count with the support and attention of the geomorphological community at large.
In recent months, we have requested four more national and international indexers, and we
are expecting the classification of the CAPES Qualis Periodicals system, which will undoubtedly
increase the journal's growth. The assessment of the Brazilian graduate system is going through
troubled phases, but we believe that this will soon be resolved, one way or another.
Thus, we register our thanks to those who have honored us with their work so far! We take
the opportunity to invite other colleagues to submit the results of their research to our journal, it
is yours and for you.
