Abstract

This present work aims to understand the dynamics of geomorphological landscapes. In the case studied, it was the application of indices in the drainage system and possible proposals in relation to models and landforms. So, in this way, the research had an approach in the analysis of the Cordeiro River Basin (BHRC), where, the application of the indices was the Drainage Hierarchization, Bifurcation Ratio, Sinuosity Index of the Escarpment front and the Inclination Index of Channel (Ksn). That they were able to perceive dynamics in the landscape, such as geological and geomorphological evolution, and consequently, the behavior of processes in the river incision. The highlight was mountainous or dissected, featuring a set of techniques with a possible structural control in the drainage network (BHRC). With this, it was possible to have a better conception of the current relief, through the applications of the mentioned indices.
